Senior Activities
Each month, the Senior Center distributes a variety of flyers with information on senior classes, events, trips, housing information and more.

Monday through Friday and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Senior Center Activities

of the activities in the Center. If you have any questions, please call

- OIL PAINTING - Portraits, florals, landscapes. All seniors are invited to try their hand at oil painting. Participants provide their own material. Oil Painting is each Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
- CRAFTS - Craft classes are offered Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. Here you can play around with arts and crafts. This is a great class to meet new friends, have fun and be creative!
- DRAWING AND PAINTING - Individual instruction for beginners and more experienced students. Students provide their own materials. Class is offered Mondays at 1:00 p.m.
- MUSIC WITH SARA - Calling all songbirds! This is an excellent chance to use those vocal cords. Or just come and listen to your favorite songs both old and new. Mondays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
- BINGO - Bingo is one of the most popular attractions that the Senior Center offers. Bingo is held on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. and Bingo/Potluck on the fourth Thursday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- BILLIARDS - Billiards is another popular activity at the Center. The men can always be found in the pool hall but it's also becoming popular with the women. The team has won seven championships in a row against other senior centers! The Center has four pool tables for everyone's enjoyment.
- CERAMICS - Ceramics is offered Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. . There is individual instruction on ceramic greenware for beginners and advanced students. Students provide their own materials.
- CARDS - The Center offers a wide range of card games and times to play. Card playing ranges from bridge, pinochle and canasta. There is always open card playing in the Center's library.even in the mornings!
- LINE DANCING - The Line Dancing class is offered at two different levels: Beginners on Mondays time to 1:00 p.m., Advanced on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. Join the fun with the Boot Scootenetes and Dudes. No partner needed. The line dancing classes are a great place to meet with old friends and make new ones.
- EXERCISE - Exercise classes are offered with an instructor on Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays at 9:15 a.m.; Video exercise Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays at 8:30 a.m. The Center also has an exercise room with great machines including two treadmills, a weight machine and recumbent bike. The staff is very helpful in setting up programs for users of the machines.
- WOODCARVING - Woodcarving gives you the chance to put your mind and hands to work. Create your own masterpieces or just play around with ideas! The woodcarvers meet on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m.
- YOGA FOR SENIORS -
Joint a wonderful introduction to the basics of Yoga, including breathing, relaxation, meditation and postures. Dress comfortably. Class is held on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. Instructor: Pat Soden.
- ITALIAN LANGUAGE CLASS -
Come learn the Italian language. Mondays and Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m
- TALK & TELL -"Creative Conversation Group" stimulates your mind by discussing any and all subjects. To encourage sociability and camaraderie, join this exciting class on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. Instructor: Maria Sorich.
