Moreno Valley Fire Department

To ensure the safest environment possible, public safety is a top priority. The Moreno Valley Fire Department is part of the CALFIRE / Riverside County Fire Department’s regional, integrated, cooperative fire protection organization.

The City of Moreno Valley Fire Department operates six fire stations with six paramedic engine companies and three aerial truck companies, a Fire Prevention Bureau for planning and inspections along with Emergency Services and Volunteer Programs. The Fire Department provides fire suppression, emergency medical rescue, hazardous materials response, planning and inspections for businesses, and hazard reduction abatement to the citizens of Moreno Valley. The equipment used by the department has the versatility to respond to both urban and rural emergency conditions. Through a Cooperative Fire Services Agreement with the Riverside County Fire Department, the City has access to additional emergency equipment such as brush engines, aircraft, hazardous materials unit, fire crews, and breathing support units.

The Moreno Valley Fire Department serves the community with pride, integrity, and
professionalism while providing quality emergency services to protect and preserve life and property of its citizens when exposed to fires, medical emergencies, natural or man made
disasters, hazardous materials incidents, and rescue emergencies in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner as a result of a cooperative, regionalized fire and rescue delivery system with the Riverside County Fire Department.
