Incorrect Date Listed for City’s Next Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

An incorrect date for the City of Moreno Valley’s next household hazardous waste collection event was included in a City publication recently distributed to residents. The next collection events are scheduled for June 5th and 6th, 2009. The Spring version of “Moreno Valley Soaring,” the City’s publication which includes the Recreation Guide and City newsletter CityLink, lists an incorrect date of May 23rd, 2009 for a collection event. There is no event scheduled for May 23rd.

Residents of the City of Moreno Valley are invited to safely dispose of their household hazardous waste (HHW), including electronics, sharps and other items at the June 5th and 6th Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event. Residents can drop off their hazardous waste from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the City of Moreno Valley’s Corporate Yard, located at 15670 Perris Blvd., Moreno Valley.

This event is for household-generated waste only; business waste will not be accepted.
