School Area Traffic Safety Workshop

The Chairman of the Moreno Valley Traffic Safety Commission, Lawrence Baird, announced a “School Area Traffic Safety” workshop and luncheon to be held at Moreno Valley’s Conference and Recreation Center Wednesday, February 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The workshop is designed to bring together school district administrators, traffic engineers, and traffic law enforcement officials for an informative summit. This workshop is an opportunity to review planning, design, and operational lessons learned in the process of building and operating school sites. The speaker will be Ms. Monica Suter, Senior Civil Engineer for the Traffic Engineering Section of the Public Works Agency for the City of Santa Ana. Ms. Suter is a highly recognized authority in this field and has spoken annually at the Traffic Commissioner’s Workshop sponsored by the City Traffic Engineers Association at Cal Poly University in Pomona.
