Alessandro Blvd. scheduled for repairs

Beginning Monday, May 19th, City maintenance crews will be working on Alessandro Boulevard from Heacock Street to the Old 215 frontage road. The road work will affect both east and west bound lanes of traffic, but crews will limit their work to just one lane at a time to allow for traffic flow.

“The work will begin at 7 a.m. and end prior to the evening rush hour,” said Maintenance and Operations Division Manager, Larry Williams. “The maintenance work will be done in sections and will start west bound near Elsworth Street,” Williams said.

The road work is expected to continue through Friday, May 30th. As the area could be congested, the public is urged to use alternative routes.
