Sandbags available at city fire stations
The weather forecast calls for heavy rain in the Inland Empire region January 6th - 9th. In anticipation of this storm, the City of Moreno Valley is providing sandbags for Moreno Valley residents who wish to get them in advance of the storm.
Sand and sandbags are available 7 a.m. - 4 p.m., Thursday, January 6th and Friday, January 7th, at the Moreno Valley City Yard, 15670 Perris Blvd. You must be a resident of Moreno Valley and there is a 25-bag limit per household.
Empty sandbags are available at all six city fire stations. Bags can be picked up any time they are needed, however it is preferred that residents pick up bags during regular business hours (between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.) Moreno Valley fire station locations are as follows:
