Specific Plans

Specific Plans identify design and/or development standards that directly relate to the objectives of a particular geographic area and expand upon the general provisions provided within the City’s General Plan and Municipal Code.

Specific Plans can have a singular focus, such as the Moreno Valley Industrial Area that addresses land uses and design/development standards for industrial related development; or, Specific Plans can address multiple land uses and objectives, such as the Village Plan that provides for both residential and commercial development, along with provisions for redevelopment of existing uses and/or infrastructure.
