The Planning Department recommends and implements land use policies, processes land use applications and prepares and processes updates and revisions to the General Plan, Municipal Code, Landscape guidelines and Design guidelines. Provides staff support to the Planning Commission, Environmental and Historical Preservation Board, and Project Review Staff Committee.

City of Moreno Valley Landscape Standards

The landscape standards for Moreno Valley assist the public in designing projects that require landscaping, or the preparation of a landscape plan. The document implements Chapter 9.17 of the Municipal
Code (Landscape Requirements).
